Last updated: October 22, 2026
This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have. "I," "we" and "us" mean Larry Roach, Character Training Enterprises, 3610 19th Avenue NE, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406.
1. Email newsletters (AWeber)
When you sign up for Character Quotes or a free download, you give us your name and email address. They're stored with our email service, AWeber, which sends the emails. We use them only to send what you asked for, plus occasional related offers. We don't sell or rent your information. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. AWeber's privacy policy: https://www.aweber.com/privacy.htm
2. Purchases (PayPal and WarriorPlus)
Some products are sold through PayPal, and others through WarriorPlus, which processes payment by card or PayPal. Those companies collect your payment details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email address and what you bought, so we can deliver the product and help if there's a problem. See PayPal's privacy policy and WarriorPlus's privacy policy.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses them to:
- remember that you've closed the cookie notice or a sign-up pop-up, so you don't see it again for a while
- make WordPress and our page tools work
- measure visits through the Facebook Pixel (below)
- let the share buttons and embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos work (those companies may set their own cookies)
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though pop-ups may show again.
4. Facebook (Meta) Pixel
This site uses the Facebook Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta. It tells us how many visitors come from Facebook and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site. Meta may collect information about your visit (such as the pages you viewed) and connect it with your Facebook account under its own policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can control ad preferences in your Facebook settings.
5. Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links (for example, Amazon). If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon may use cookies to record that you came from this site.
6. Email
If you email us at larry@character-training.com, we use your message and address only to reply.
7. Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
8. Your choices
To unsubscribe, use the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email larry@character-training.com.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
